Registration Fees
All fees will be paid to the Conference.  Conference fees will be based on the options listed below. If you would like to make on-site lodging arrangements at Allerton Park & Retreat Center, please do so at the time of registration. Off-site lodging is also available.

Registration Deadline
Advance registration is due by September 11, 2009. Please note that there will be NO REFUNDS on registration fees.

Conference Proceedings
A CD-ROM copy of the Proceedings is included with each non-student registration.  Student registration does not include the Proceedings.  Additional CD-ROM copies are available to all attendees at $65 each.

Meals
Guests at Allerton Retreat Center and commuters from Champaign-Urbana must request, at the time of advance registration, tickets for meals served at Allerton Retreat Center (please see information on the registration form). Tickets will not be available for purchase from Allerton Retreat Center during the Conference.

*** Please note that Monticello is NOT within walking distance from the Conference site, it is approximately a 15 minute drive into Monticello. Meal arrangements should be made allowing for the remote rural location of this event.

Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception for the 47th Annual Allerton Conference will be held at the Champaign
Country Club, 1211 South Prospect Avenue, Champaign, on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, from 7:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. The dress code for the Country Club is club casual, no jeans or white T-shirts.

Transportation will be provided from the Allerton Park and Retreat Center to the Country Club. Departure for the reception will be at 7:00 p.m. and will return to Allerton House at the end of the reception.

Transportation

Champaign-Urbana is located at the junction of I-57, I-72, and I-74, about 130 miles south of Chicago and 110 miles west of Indianapolis. You can get here by:

Air: UI Willard Airport is served by American Eagle (Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth) and Northwest Airlink (Detroit).

Local Taxis:

Starr Limousine will provide taxi service from the Champaign Willard Airport to the Allerton Conference and Retreat Center.*

For arrivals on:

- Tuesday, September 29, 2009 - Starr will provide transportation from the airport to the Welcome reception and the Allerton Conference and Retreat Center. The fare is included in your registration.

- Wednesday, September 30-Friday, Oct. 2, 2009 - Taxi fare to the conference may be purchased through the PaperCept registration site.
